We went for a walk round and drank some very large daiquiris!.
Eventually we stopped for a burger and ended up chatting to a lovely couple behind us in the queue who told us what was good (all of it!) from the long list in front of us.
Burger decision making is not easy after a full bong of daquiri!

Saturday 10 October
Siobhan's birthday. Lots of cards and birthday wishes.
We lounged around for a while and finally made our way down to find some breakfast. 20 minutes later we found the specified bar and as it was continental breakfast but with no seating nearby we decided to give it a miss and head out for a coffee instead, then cocktails...

Then we walked down the strip wandering about all over the place as the fancy took us.
And then off to the theatre in the evening to watch The Blue Man group. Hard to explain what we went to see... a group of men with blue faces who didn't say a word throughout the performance... who played various things like lengths of piping and paint covered drums... who climbed across the audience... who went inside minds, eyeballs and throats... who showered the audience in big balls and paper streamers...
Not even close! But very funny and certainly very unique!
Then off to Bobby's burger bar to finish the evening with burgers (as we couldn't really remember them from the previous evening!) and to try some alcoholic milkshakes!

Sunday 11 October
Off to the New Orleans arena to meet Mandi and Jared - our new friends from the burger bar - and watch the K9 police dog show.
Then off to the Stratosphere - high but not too scary as there were platforms all around it.
Then Fremont Street - a sort of (slightly!) less frenetic version of the Strip.
Really nice just to wander and look at all the stuff going on while people shot by overhead on the zip wires...

Monday 12 October
Home time! And lovely last views of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam from the plane.
Well what a marvellous trip!
2732 miles travelled by car, 4 states visited, over 10,000 miles and 25 hours of plane flight, 8 different beds slept in, and we saw and did loads!
No falling out just laughs and giggles galore!
So it's goodbye from Thelma and Louise (we never did get to wear our scarves!!) xx
