Police accused of violence at the (unauthorised) vigil for Sarah Everard (murdered by a serving policeman) and the right for women to feel safe on the street. Ironic.

Nine EU countries have suspended use of the AZ vaccine, others not using current batch because of fears over blood clots and side effects.
Third lockdown in Italy - who were the first to impose original lockdown exactly two weeks before the UK.
Ministers said second lockdown should have started earlier. Lessons weren't learned after first wave.

Supply issues from India will slow down supplies in April meaning 5m less vaccines done.. which coincides exactly with when UK lockdown is predicted to be eased.

Round to Ema's for outside meet up. Very cold but nice to see everyone. All smelt of woodsmoke when we got home.
Ema made a delicious lamb and apricot tagine for Monday club.

Chile made to enforce strict lockdown again. With one third of the country innoculated the country was looked on as a good example but restrictions were relaxed too soon and covid cases soared once more.
Ema made another Monday club meal - spinach and mushroom lasagne. Delicious!

Unexpected snow which fell, thawed slightly then froze. Very pretty.
